The Eljen Mantis System is an alternative system made from recycled material and requires a smaller installation area than a conventional septic system. On this particular job the Mantis was a perfect product because the location of a well and the proximity of surrounding wetlands created a small usable area. As seen below, septic sand encases the entire system, including the actual "fingers" of the structure itself.
